PACT/FAA New Rates 2023-2025
Below are the new (FAA) this replaces the ones which ended on 31st December 2022. So new agreements inplace, note some prodcutions that started up before this date may still be using the old rates, we will let you know about this when we send you an avaibility check.
Following the FAA’s acceptance of Pact’s counter-proposal, there will be a two-tiered system of implementation of the new rates as follows:
- 5% increase for 2023 to come into effect for all new productions from 1st March 2023 and for all productions currently shooting from 1st June 2023;
- 3.5% increase on 1st January 2024;
- 2% increase on 1st January 2025 for all rates in Appendix A and all categories in Appendix B.
If a production has already locked their budget and filming commences or has commenced on or after 1st March 2023, the old 2022 rates apply until 1st June 2023. Otherwise, the new rates apply to all other productions.
With regards to the travel allowance in Appendix D, travel allowances will continue to increase annually in line with TFL adjustments, with the new 5.9% increase coming into force on 5th March 2023.

Meal Allowances
Where meals are not provided by production under Clause 10.6, meal allowances are payable in accordance with HMRC guidelines. These rates shall be subject to any amendments to HMRC guidelines.
